    3. Hi Pat No Newtownhamilton is not there in the 1851 book you use as it is not a townland. It is a town, a smallish market town of about five streets and two rather large churches. It lies within Tullyvallan or Tullyvallen townland and it is considered part of the civil parish of Newtownhamilton in 1851 and part of the Roman Catholic Parish of Lower Creggan. Presbyterian churches are at Clarkesbridge and Freeduff. I shall look at this site. Are you the same Pat who was asking about the 1821 census for Armagh?
