The word is still used as a placename today, the courthouse was in Ballybot, the hospital in Ballybot.     3. Hi Pauline, The family name is HARDING, the father being William and the mother, Eliza. I was looking at the NEWRY DISTRICT MODEL SCHOOL from 1858-1870 and I have found several of the children. They lived on Needham Street and he was a stone mason.
