According to James Ryan's book, Ireland Records, Sources for Family and Local History: There are only remnants of this census for Parish of Kilmore left from the county (townlands of Ballency, Corcreevy, Crewcat, Derryhale, Drumnahushin, Listeyborough and Maynooth). They are avail through PRONI or through Family History Library films. How does one access the 1821 census? -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA http://www.connorsgenealogy.com
Hi Pat The 1821 census is available for 23 townlands of Forkhill Parish, Co. Armagh and another townland near Mountnorris. The fields books were around 1994 by a doctoral student in the Church of Ireland boardroom. The actual fields books containing much more material than would actually have made its way to Dublin. This is my home area and I am willing to transcribe any entries if someone wants information on a particular family.
