I have not located any passenger list of them coming over before the 1870 NY census either: Rosana MOAN b. 1813 Ireland (Widow of Patrick MOAN) daugh. Mary MOAN b. 1843 Ireland son Owen MOAN b.1845 Ireland son Arthur MOAN b. 1851. Ireland Hopefully their cousins, the McCONVILLE's, can help me. Siblings, Peter and Rena (Mary Catherine?) McCONVILLE, came to Cohoes, NY to live with their MOAN cousins in 1895 from Ireland. They both went back to Ireland in 1912 to visit. On their return to Cohoes in 1912, Peter (born about 1872) said he was born in Maighfonner, Co. Armagh. Rena (born about 1873-1880) said she was born in Mullabawn, Co. Armagh. They said they have a father (Peter McCONVILLE) and a sister (Annie McCONVILLE) still living in Ireland in 1912. I have been researching my MOAN genealogy for awhile, just not in Ireland yet. Can any research experts help me as to where I should begin? Thank you, Andrew Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
