Hi Sharon, I enjoyed your blog. I, too, share my research. I have my family tree online (without info on living relatives) and on my website. As I research data, looking for more info on my family, I put all I find on the various sections of my website. I started my website in 2001 when data wasn't as readily available online like it is today. Now that I am retired, it has become my part time job. I love it when someone writes me and tells me something they found on my website has helped them unlock some family mysteries. Thanks for opening this line of thought, Pat A number of lists that I subscribe to have wrestled with the problem of > how to share research with others, and even whether to share at all. > This piece I have posted to my blog site is just me mulling about the > whole question of sharing. Towards the end of it, I have a list of pros > and cons. > SEE: > http://sharonoddiebrown.blogspot.com/2011/05/knock-knock-whos-there.html > > -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA http://www.connorsgenealogy.com
