A number of lists that I subscribe to have wrestled with the problem of how to share research with others, and even whether to share at all. This piece I have posted to my blog site is just me mulling about the whole question of sharing. Towards the end of it, I have a list of pros and cons. SEE: http://sharonoddiebrown.blogspot.com/2011/05/knock-knock-whos-there.html My next blog will be about how I learn from my mistakes, with a couple of pieces giving examples. Maybe I will finish the three of these pieces tomorrow, maybe the next day. Sharon -- Sharon Oddie Brown, Roberts Creek, BC, Canada. History Project: www.thesilverbowl.com

Hi Sharon I love looking at your sight you do a lot of good work .About sharing i am glad people share as i know i would not have half of what i have without them i try to share where i can as long as i know its correct sometimes i am not sure . I have my tree on Ancestry which is private i find it quite good that way as i only invite people who are related and we help each other .My ggg grandparents came from Armagh and to this date still cannot locate them found three children with some help from others trouble is mine go back to about 1800 .
