G'day Garry, I really think that it is Seagoe.....the is often confusion with the Ls and Ss of the time, hence the favourite....."my ancestor was a Lawyer" but later discovered that he was a Sawyer. I have ancestors from Seagoe and I know that some rellos went to NZ, what is the surname you are researching.
