They were married in Fourtowns Presbyterian Church in the parish of Donaghmore in the district of Banbridge, Co Down, on the 18th Dec 1866. William Graham's father is named as James Graham and William's birth date is given as 1841 and Mary Fleming's birth date is given as 1844 and her father is given as David Fleming. The birth records I have for their children show Mary Fleming as their mother. Children born: Sarah Ann 01.10.1867 - Jane Eliza 28.06.1869 - Mary 10.04.1871 - Margaret 06.07.1873 - James 24.04.1875 - Emma 13.06.1880 and then from the census records I have William John born around 1887. William John married in Belfast 12.07.1918 and his daughter Eleanor is still alive, she is the lady I mentioned before, she is known as Nelly. Jane Eliza Graham married John Lowe in Clare CI 07.08.1885 and she then I think marries my Great Great Grandfather Wil! liam Turner and then marries a Matthew Wallace around 1895/96. I have her on the 1901 and 1911 census with Matthew Wallace and can't find the marriage to William Turner or Matthew Wallace. I am trying to find out if the David you mentioned was born before or after Jane Eliza marries John Lowe because he was known to us as Davy Graham. William Graham and Mary can be seen on the 1901 and 1911 census, living in Ballyshielmore, Co Armagh and they appear to have a farm. You can search the 1901/1911 census for Ireland free, Google National Archives for Ireland 1901/1911 census and then search for William Graham. Mary dies between 1901 and 1911 so it would be easy to apply for her death cert from the General Registry Belfast. I hope some of this information is useful to you, I will have another search to see if I can find where William Graham and Mary Fleming give as their residence when they marry and let you know if I have any success and I will also try to ring Nelly and ! see what she can remember, when I last talked to her she said she had been burgled and they stole the box with her personal papers in but the police found the box and returned it to her, she said that I could have a look at the family papers if I wanted, I don't know what the papers are exactly but I will ask her, they will most likely be about her mother's side of the family rather than the Graham side. Yours Audrey. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
