I'm doing a One surname study of Gilpins. I'm also admining a Y-DNA Study of Gilpins. One of my members of the Gilpin Y-DNA study did some research extraction of Gilpins listed in the Seagoe Parish in County Armagh, N. Ireland. This is one of her extractions. (Although, she did this research, I do not know if she will do research for anyone.) Descendants of Mary Gilpin 1. Mary Gilpin. She married on 4 Feb 1772 in Seagoe Parish, County Armagh, Ireland to David Turkington. Notes for Mary Gilpin Mary Gilpin / David Turkington mar.February 4, 1772 (record number 0226/2) Seagoe Parish records Index, County Armagh, N. Ireland as extracted by Catherine McCotter; cat_mccotter@yahoo.co.uk Catherine went to the Parish Office to copy the records and took pictures. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ NOTE: This isn't your Henry and Mary, but... It might give you an area to look at. Plus they might even be Mary's parents/Grandparents. Hope it helps you. I would like to include your family in the One name study if you would allow me. Catherine McCotter, is a Gilpin descendant Her ancestry's Gilpin Y-DNA indicates that she shares ancestry with my Gilpin ancestry. Would you be interested in testing your Gilpin Y-DNA? Nelda Nelda L.
