Is he connected to the Maria Gilpin who married Richard Thompson and settled in the same area of Pontiac County, Quebec in the early 1800's? From reading through posts, I have figured out that Maria's parents are William Gilpin and Ann ? of Balteagh, Ireland. This is the same are of Ireland that Henry came from.
