I have found a James Whitley who married in 1814 in the Diocese of Dublin on Find My Past. I am not a subscriber to this site and am looking for more information on this marriage. It says the source was the Deputy Keeper of Ireland, Index to the Act or Grant Books, and to Original Wills, of the Diocese of Dublin 1272-1858. My James Whitley was born about 1791 in Armagh although I have not found his birth registration yet. He came to Canada about 1822 with his family. Is Armagh in the Diocese of Dublin? Can anyone help me with this marriage? His wife may have been a Sibbett. Judy
