I do not know his parents name. He emmigrated to New York arriving on the Sarah Sheiffe May 31, 1836 from Belfast, Ireland. He was a brick mason by trade. In New York he met and married Rebecca Jane Johnston born 1811 in Tyrone County Ire. She was the daughter of Scotch parents. They had seven children, two lived, and resided in Jersey City, New York and Horican and Fon Du Lac Wisconsin. My search ends at his arrival in the US.
