    3. Ms. McCarthy,       Thank you so much.  Would you by any chance have the Census of Richhill in County Armagh and surrounding area?  I am trying to trace back the Gray ancestors of my great grandmother Sarah Gray who married Joseph Courthey , my great grandfather on Feb. 9, 1866.             Thank you,                   Ethel Lambert ________________________________ From: Jean McCarthy <jeanmccarthy36@gmail.com> To: NIR-ARMAGH@rootsweb.com Sent: Tue, June 7, 2011 11:52:02 AM Subject: [ARMAGH] 1851 Census Index Liverpool—Irish bor 1851 Census Index Liverpool—Irish born on my web site at the link below. 3. The answer will almost certainly be 'no' because only the 1901 and 1911 censuses for Ireland have survived. That's a big part of the reason why Irish research is more difficult than English research. Brenda On 11 Jun 2011, at 18:59, Ethel Lambert wrote: > Thank you so much. 3. I am very sorry Ethel I don't have what you ask. As Brenda quite rightly points out only the 1901 and 1911 censuses for Ireland survived. Good luck with your research. Kind regards. 3. Hi Ethel, Another possible source of info may be someone doing a One-Name Study on Gray: http://www.one-name.org/profiles/gray.html With their wedding occurring in 1866, did you already request that register copy?
