Robert Ruddock married Margaret Cole in the Richhill CI Church on 27/11/1845 so both were born about 1822-1825. There are several Ruddocks in the Griffith's Valuations for Kilmore. There is also a townland called Kilmore, not to be confused with the Parish of Kilmore. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. My grandmother settled in Chester,Pa.(circa 1896-1900) She met and married another Co. Mayo native--Francis(Frank) Robinson in 1902. Two sisters,Ellen(Patrick Cannon) and Annie(Thomas or Joseph Garvey) also settled in the area. Another sister,Theresa died around 1915 at age 27 in Chester,There were two brothers--Michael emigrated and lived with my grandparents for a time but don't know what became of him.Patrick never married and lived in the area also Florida and Arizona. There were other sibs-an older brother John that I'm guessing died in infancy, younger sisters,Bridget , Catherine and an unamed female born around 1880 that I have no info on other than a birthdate and assume died in infancy/childhood. If any of this sounds familiar-would appreciate hearing what you know.Would like to find out more about my great grandparents --all I have are names and a possible marriage date. Also am interested about my grandmother's sibs and anything about the Howleys in Ireland/America. This is not my line but I am also looking for information on a William Robinson who was b 1811 in Ireland to Samuel and Ellen McCammon Robinson. William married Jane White (or Whyte) and had their first three children in Ireland (John, 1842, Eliza, 1844, and Robert, 1846). Later children were born in Canada, perhaps immigrating in 1847. They had a total of six children before Jane died 16 Feb 1854 at the age of 35. William later married Susan Maxwell in 1854 and had three children; then Isabella Baxter on 6 Apr 1858 and had nine more children for a total of 21 children (though I only have 19 accounted for). William settled and raised his family in Inverness, Quebec, Canada. Looking for any additional information and/or researchers who have this William or others noted in this account in their line or research. Thank you! I have found a James Whitley who married in 1814 in the Diocese of Dublin on Find My Past. I am not a subscriber to this site and am looking for more information on this marriage. It says the source was the Deputy Keeper of Ireland, Index to the Act or Grant Books, and to Original Wills, of the Diocese of Dublin 1272-1858. My James Whitley was born about 1791 in Armagh although I have not found his birth registration yet. He came to Canada about 1822 with his family. Is Armagh in the Diocese of Dublin? Can anyone help me with this marriage? His wife may have been a Sibbett. Judy

Kathy There are some parts of Armagh for which the 1821 census exists, namely Forkhill Parish in the south of the county and some townlands in Kilmore Parish in the north of the county. The forkhill 1821 census covers 23 townlands and has lots of information Pauline www.irishhomesteads.com
