It might be an idea to ring the council and see if they know where the graveyard is located or ask around once you get to Kilmore. Sorry I can't help more on that but I dont know Armagh well enough . I believe he lived in a tennants home on lord stewart of fortestewart. how can I find out if he had any other family members at that time. I am also looking for a marriage cert or any other document entry of a patrick and Sarah( O Driscoll)Mc Monagle of the ballgreen area of Donegal Ireland I found information of his sblings but not of his marriage unfortunately I dont know the date of marriage. My guess would go by their son Daniel was born in 1864 so I would say 1850ish upwards This response may help you in some way. I get the impression that the marriage was between Daniel and Sarah and they had children named Patrick b. 1870 and also the other son born earlier named Daniel. If this is the case, at least this will give you the location of the church and baptism. Contact me directly and I will see what I can find. NO CHARGE!! I do as a hobby. Author: elwynsoutter1 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.britisles.ireland.arm.general/10013.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Statutory registration of RC marriages only started on 1.1.1864, so if they married before that you won't find the marriage in the statutory marriage records. Your only hope is to find the marriage in the parish records, assuming they go back that far. To do that you need to know the church they married in. Details of surviving marriage records are on the PRONI website: www.proni.gov.uk/index/research_and_records_held/catalogues_guides_indexes_and_leaflets/online_guides_and_indexes.htm Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 3. Hi Lea I found some of my family from Loughgall at St Marks through RootsIreland http://www.rootsireland.ie/ You have to register, then the searches are free but it costs 5 euros per time to get the information. I have done a couple of searches and the name Jervis Johnston is found as a marriage in 1890 in Co Armagh and in 1891 in Co Antrim.
