I really wondered if you had ever come across the name JENNINGS in your searches of Seaver documents. Daniel was the brother of my ggggrandfather Andrew Jennings of Newry. The fact that you mentioned Huguenot names is also of interest to me, as I am chasing this possibilty at the moment in relation to the name JENNINGS/JENNIN/GENNIN. Hope I am not sending you information you already have, best wishes, Nicola Jennings.

Ireland 1885. She emigrated to the US and was a domestic on the Vermont census of 1920. It states she emigrated in 1913. In May of 1920 (fortunately after the only census she was on) she married Robert Williams Robert Williams b. Dec 5, 1879 place unknown. Rumoured to be Welsh and occupation in P.Q. was as quarryman. Died in the mid 1950's. Married Elizabeth Fluke b. 1885/1886. Calculated from age shown on Derbyline, Vermont 1920 Census: Age 34 servant alien immigared 1913 Ireland Raised in Ireland and returned for a visit to home that she grew up in and so I can't tie her to the well researched Fluke surname that emigrated Ireland to the US in the mid 1850's. (It seems she was from Armagh area, and I'm wondering perhaps Dungannon?) Married in Graniteville, P.Q. on May 1920 at a home. Children Barbara Williams and Ramsay Williams. 3. I have just posted a new page that includes notes of five deeds from Ballinahonebeg (a townland just south of the road between Armagh & Monaghan and a couple of miles or so west of Armagh City). SEE: http://www.user.dccnet.com/s.brown/history/OLIVER-JACKSON-SEAVER.htm The names mentioned in these deeds include (in order of their mention): Charles SEAVER, Sarah SEAVER, Nicholas SAVER, David VERNER, HUTCHESON's, Richard SEAVER, Robert JACKSON, Thomas CARR, Matthew or Michael SEAVER, Samuel JOHNSTON, James DOBBIN, Leonard SIMPSON, Arthur OLIVER, Thomas VERNER, Henry HALL, Elinor HALL, Edward TIPPING, Benjamin OLIVER, John BURGES, James BRADFORD, James SWANZY, Wm GEOGH, John COANDE. Other Deeds connected to Ballinahonebeg also mention connections between JACKSONs & OLIVERs. As well, Robert JACKSON was also involved in various Monaghan leases with David OLIVER of Ballyrea. I will be getting to them soon. Any and all feedback is welcome, Sharon Oddie Brown Roberts Creek, BC, Canada THE SILVER BOWL: http://www.user.dccnet.com/s.brown/index.html FAMILY TREE: http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=silverbowl

She was the daughter of Robert Fluke, a small farmer. He was born in approx.1820 and died in 1897. They lived in Killylea and Ballydoo in County Armagh. I have attached photos of the Fluke house and graves. Eliza Jane married my great grandfather William Patton (also a farmer in Killylea) on 20 August 1872 in Armagh Registrar's Office. I am going over there this weekend to do some further research. I have 3 pages of notes on the Fluke family, but it is not on my computer yet. John was born in Ireland and Thomas in Liversedge (1859) - cannot trace birth certs. They were probably Catholic but I cannot trace the connection back to Ireland. They probably came over to escape the famine but not sure from which county in Ireland. The McNulty sisters married at St Marie's Catholic church in Halifax in the 1870's to O' Toole and Barrett and McKenzie. Other possible connections are Batley, Dewsbury and USA. Any info would be great ?? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
