    2. B Young
    3. Does anyone know of siblings/parents for Jane GARDNER ? She probably would have been born between 1820 and 1827 as her first child was born in 1845. She married Johnathan WHALLEY/WHALEY. In Griffith's Valuation, they were farming in Breagh. Any info on Johnathan WHALLEY/WHALEY also appreciated. The children of Johnathan and Jane WHALEY I have are: Ann, Letitia, Caroline and David. Any help will be great. Beryl Auckland, New Zealand

I just found it in the paper and thought I would post it. Seen as she lived in Cornwall have you checked the Ontario Vital Stats. for a death certificate for him. It may give a place of birth. Depending when he died. The later the death the more information that is often given as more questions were asked. Also a obit. from Cornwall may also help. I'm not sure if you have seen this but it may or may not help in your search some way as to the family residence and where to look for info. Sometimes even a reference on a Childs birth certificate can lead to some info. http://www.collectionscanada.ca/archivianet/post-offices/001001-119.01-e.php?&isn_id_nbr=11690&interval=24&&PHPSESSID=4m8nahp2ov1aqo26ck35bdot87 Hope this helps in your search. While doing my research I came across the Alexander line in various census. But have not even found Jane's maiden name. I was in Ireland about 3 years ago and did find the HILLOCK name on leases granted by Henry Brooke, who owned a very large estate, and a map showing the acreage leased by Edward Hillock, Widow Hillock, and one other Hillock in the Gorteen Townland in the manor of Brookeborough/colebrooke Estate in Fermanagh. Also found a good many HILLOCK'S from Kirkcaldy, Scotland. If you wish to exchange information my email address is: linda-m@dslextreme.com and live in very hot California. I belong to the line of Alexander Hillock and Catherine Daly who came to the Peel region sometime in the 1820's. This summer I was at the Peel archives and came across a family tree produced in 1933 by Perkins Bull. It shows the line of Alexander and of most of the names that I knew about before hand minus two sons that I knew. This tree also indicates that Alexander is the brother of John of the John Hillock and Esther Dodds family and of Edward of the family Edward and Jane (later on known as Mrs. Crawford after Edward died). I was wondering if you have more information of these 3 families in going back to Ireland and their parents names? I'll be happy to share on what I have as well. Thank you. 3. Dottie, a P.S. I have looked at Griffiths 1864 and find a James CALISTON (note spelling) in the Townland of Mullaghbane, Parish of Mullaghbrack (again, near Markethill), also a Samuel CALLISON in David Street Portadown. 3. Dottie, I have lookd at Emerald Ancestors for you and although there is no James Callison, there are only a few entries for that name. About 75% of them are in and around Markethill, Co. 1. [ARMAGH] NEW LISTER - searching HEANEY/HANEY Families at Forkhill, Armagh
    2. Graham Naylor
    3. Hello everyone I am a new lister having recently discovered that my HEANEY ancestors originate at Forkill, Armagh. My Gt Gt Gt Grandfather, Patrick HEANEY was born at Forkhill around 1820 - he joined the army in 1840. His marriage certificate (dated 1855 at Preston, Lancashire) records his Father as Henry HEANEY, Farmer, deceased. Does anyone connect or have any information on the HEANEY Family? Also does anyone know where I can obtain a copy of the book by the Mullaghbawn Community Association entitled 'Kick any Stone - Townlands people and stories of Forkhill Parish'? I am particularly interested in the Forkhill 1821 Census... Looking forward to hearing from you.
