I enjoyed your website, as my grandfather's grandparents, Samuel HART and Rebecca KELLY, emigrated from northern Ireland to Bishop's Mills, Ontario, probably in 1840, at just about the same time as your ancestors came from Scotland. The photo of the log cabin is very similar to the log cabin my ancestors built (and which is still standing and being lived in and loved by a young couple, not relatives!), so it was fun to see it as an "old" photo. I suspect her mother's name may have been Honoria and I suspect she may have had a sister named Honoria and possibly one named Bridget (all speculation). I have not been able to find any brothers. Other family members feel Catherine was the youngest in her family. When her father (Thomas) died his farm passed to Caherine's husband (Hugh Quigley)--which is most unusual.
