Residence or place where pension paid stated in document. 1820. As I mentioned in a previous post, these are just the pension records for a small percentage of those who served. For example, your Robert could have been a brother of the following George who did receive a pension: WO 97/511/44 GEORGE DOWNIE Born LOCHGAUL, Armagh Served in 33rd Foot Regiment 1820-48. The parish maps for Antrim are now complete - just Down to go! Some areas around Belfast now have high resolution imagery and it is interesting to see the actual hedgerows etc which form the boundaries.
