Author: rconard190 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.britisles.ireland.arm.general/9800.1.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: The parents were married at that church in 1877, but I am not seeing much. Perhaps you can read the names of heir parents off their marriage record. Here are some names to match with Thomas Page and Ellen of Ballydougan was a weaver who had Thomas baptized there. Possibly that is Ellen Carson. Possibly this is the family another lady was looking at years ago. A John Page lived in Bleary in 1861. About the same time, James Thompson and Isabella Wilson of Ballynagarrick are having William baptized there in 1858 after a marriage in 1854 at that church, James Thompson and ELizabeth of Ballynagarrick were baptizing a William the next year. If these don't match up, there is a Mary Thompson b. about 1820 in Bleary in 1901 not very far away from your family in the census listing. Actually your Robert is going to Albert Wilson in GLobe Az. I have an Albert Wilson with a sister Margaret Jane married to a McMorran who lived in GLobe, AZ. Robert Thompson in Bleary is living right among Albert and Margaret's family members, Wm Wilson & Elizabeth Uprichard, at least as far as the census listing goes. I thought Albert remained in Ireland married to a Jones, but I may have made a mistake. Who is this cousin ALbert in Arizona? The tape goes to 1880. Try irish-world for missing folk and for more recent entries. Joshua was the only Thompson in the baptism records for some time. Other THompsons then appear, but I don't see John's baptism. Many of Joshua's kids and grandkids left the area, so they would be buried elsewhere. The Devitts and the Morgans were interconnected through marriage. There are lots of McParlands in the townland. If you like, I could try to find out more next time I am up there. I was born in 1983, and i was named after her, so it couldnt possibly be in 1984. Also, Patrick James Deighans date of birth, was 30th October 1940, not 1939.
