    3. To those who have replied so far. I have for years been searching, with no results, Seagoe as I thought Sigo may have been written phonetically. I have considered Sligo but people I have shown the Army Discharge papers to have ruled that out. The second page is actually clearer than the first and very plainly reads Ligo. Walt's suggestion is very feasible. Any other suggestions? No Carole, the winds aren't that troublesome where I am albeit I am surrounded by high buildings; much cooler than last week though. G'day Garry, I really think that it is Seagoe.....the is often confusion with the Ls and Ss of the time, hence the favourite....."my ancestor was a Lawyer" but later discovered that he was a Sawyer. I have ancestors from Seagoe and I know that some rellos went to NZ, what is the surname you are researching.
