I am interested in your message concerning Mary Galt. Would it at one time been spelled as Gort or Gault ?? And, please, who was Mary's father? Mother? You wrote of County Antrim, in or near Coleraine?? I don't mean to ask so many questions but I have a Rose/Rosetta Gault/Galt/Gort who married a John McSheffrey/ery from Coleraine (?). Her father was John Galt/Gort/Gault and her mother was Mary Ann McCourt. Have very little on John Galt , he was a born , circa 1835/40 and his occupation was groom. Any link here ??? Thanks Lois W.
