Hello, I have hit a "dead end" in trying to trace my ancestor, William Cochran's family. William was born c1825, County Antrim (most probably Belfast area) and his mother's maiden name was Crawford. In the Tithe Applotment Books, there is a Mr. ?? Cochran listed in the Parish of Belfast/Shankill, townland, Ballymurphy, year 1826. My question is, does anyone know if the original Tithe Applotment Books would have had any additional information on this Mr. ?? Cochran? Any help with this query will be very much appreciated.
