    1. Re: Rev Martin?
    2. I have an ancestor named Patrick Hoy (b. 17 Feb 1787) in Antrim. He married Elizabeth Coan, whose parents were Andrew Coan and Mary Snoddy. Mary Snoddy's parents were John Snoddy and Jane Cowan, who came over from Antrim with Rev. Martin in 1773 and landed in Charleston, SC. The parents of the Patrick Hoy mentioned above were John Hoy (b. 1740, Raloo Parish, Antrim) and Ann Crawford. I don't know much about the Crawford line, but that is my connection to them. I don't know who the parents of Ann Crawford were. Maybe there is a connection to your Crawfords. Win Featherston *** Previous message below *** What is your Crawford connection? My James Crawford and wife Martha Haire were one of Rev Martin's passengers too. They came in on the Lord Donluce and lived in York, County.
