Hi everyone. I am searching for information on the parents of John McCambridge. His mother was Catherine but I have no knowledge of his father. They were born circa 1779/80 and moved to Scotland where they settled in Troon. If anyone can help me with locating his parents I would be so happy. Speaking of McCambridge I am looking for info on - Hugh McCAMBRIDGE who married Mary O'HAGAN circa 1838 in Ireland and had ?? children including Charles, Jane born circa 1850 and Rose. There could be other children though. Hugh died in the 1870's, my elderly aunt advised in a rockfall whilst building the railway at Ballymena. Hugh's daughter Rose emigrated to Stockton NSW Australia and married a ship's captain, a Bernard Joseph Heydon pre 1870. Has anyone come across any of these names in your research?
