Her grandfather's family was in a part of the 1851 census that has survived. He was 53 years old and was born in Antrim. My grandfather was 9. I have been searching for earlier records for years without success. I have lots of records from Clough Church but the earliest begin in the 1860s. I have found earlier references to the family name but have had no luck in making a connection. I wish you success. That would give added hope to many of us. Bill O'Neil
