Hi there, I'm new to this list and was just posting to see if anyone else is researching the HALL surname, particularly around the Carnmoney parish. My ancestors came from Carlisle in England, but for some (as yet unknown!) reason moved to Carnmoney sometime around 1805 until 1822. They had one child in Ireland that I know of - John Sidney HALL who was baptised in Carnmoney parish church in 1809. I found him on the IGI, but cannot find any other children on there. Can anyone tell me if the IGI's coverage of this parish is good around that time? Is it possible there are more births in the parish registers that don't appear on the IGI? Thanks for any help! Gill
