    3. Hello All, I am a new subscriber to this list, my previous researches being in England and Scotland. I have what could be a big ask. Information I have recently received shows Gordon SMITH, who was born on 27 June 1876 on the Castramont estate, Girthon parish, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland, as living in Belfast in April 1919. He was then 42 years old. The information is on a page which was slightly water damaged following the bombing and subsequent fire/s of the PRO in London during WW2. As best as I can make out the address that is given for him, it is 17 Hills or Wills ... ...denh... Belfast. Would anyone be able to give me any leads as to what part of Belfast this might be in? I have no familiarity with Belfast at all, I am ashamed to say. Gordon was not living with his parents at the time of the 1901 Scottish Census, and I have not been able to locate him in Scotland or England at that time. Perhaps he was already in Belfast. Is there any on-line access to the 1901 Belfast Census which I could check to try and locate him? He would have been 24 years old then. I have no idea what his occupation might have been. His father was a gardener. One brother was a game keeper, another a rabbit catcher. His sisters all went into service. Hoping someone might be able to give me some pointers for getting further information on Gordon. Many thanks, Jenny Gibson, Toowoomba, Australia.
