I am searching for my G-G-Grandfather, James Knight. I know he was in Liverpool in 1851, because that's the year he sailed for NY from Liverpool. I would be most interested if he appears in the 1851 census. There was a "Mary" Knight listed just under his name in the Ship's roster of names, and I have always wondered if this was his sister. Thanks so much for taking the time and effort to transcribe this 1851 census, it is important because many of our Irish ancestors were in Liverpool, trying to earn passage money for the US. Thanks again for this great project! Paula
