The Chief Constables of the police force were required to write reports to their superiors on incidents in their localities. These reports are called 'Outrage Reports' and while not all are extant, some are and stored in the National Archives of Ireland. In these reports, we find the names of people who lived in parishes - the offenders and the victims - we find different spellings for townlands than we are normally used to. So, I've uploaded a page with some Antrim Outrages for December 1835 and January 1836. Parishes that are mentioned: Antrim , Loughguile, Ahoghill, Ballintoy and Newtown Crommellin Click on the link below Jane http://www.from-ireland.net/outrages/antrim.htm
