    3. Eleanor - My interest, as always, is in the family of ARCHIBALD WISEMAN, born about 1812 in the vicinity of Ballywatermoy Townland, which was then in Ahoghill Parish. He had an older brother, JAMES,born in 1808, and left Antrim for the US in 1833 accompanied by a young woman with the same last name. They embarked for the US on the Bark Lanark out of Liverpool in 1836.My specific interest at this time is finding some confirming evidence that Archibald's father's name was James, and that his mother's maiden name may have been MARGARET DUNLAP. I also have a ROBERT WILSON (born 1826) from somewhere in Ulster, but that is all that I know about him before he is with his wife and children in New York City in 1855. Bob Wilson Stamford, CT The Bark "Lanark" brought A. Wiseman from Liverpool in 1836. The ship "Adam Carr" brought the J. McNeals from Glasgow in 1845 The ship "Macedonia" maybe brought J. Gaffney from Liverpool in 1846. The ship "Underwriter" brought C. Cavanaugh from Liverpool in 1853. The M. Redmonds came over from County Wexford to Illinois in 1850. --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Small Business - Try our new resources site!
