Hi, I'm seeking any information about Samuel McDonald who was born in Antrim on the 5th March 1872. Sam emigrated to the US in 1895 and lived in Philadelphia where he married Isabella Agnes Ahern in 1908. Isabella was from Cobh Co. Cork, a younger sister to my grandfather Thomas Ahern, she was born in 1865. As far as I know they did not have any children. They returned to live in Cobh after many years but I don't know if that is where they are buried. The only other information I have is that Sam was protestant and Isabella catholic. The Ellis Island website shows Sam returning to the US in 1908, he was a ship's steward, his nearest relative is listed as his brother George McDonald living at what looks like 27 Ardmolin Ave Belfast.
