I'm using plain text but i keep getting notes back from the list that they are receiving in html format,. if you have a suggestion were i might find the problem other than Outlook Express options I'd appreciate it. I also tried scanning the file and coping and pasting but my system won't let me. i can send attachments but again the list adm. says no attachments. Hi If you use "Insert" from the top row of buttons you have the option of selecting "Insert text from file" which puts the text in the body of your message. Cheers Davy
