Hi All I have some birth certificates with the districts listed as Belfast Urban 4, Urban 10 and Urban 11. I'm trying to find out where these districts are in Belfast so that I can do a search on the 1901 census. Can anybody help?

As you have the relevant streets would it not be easier to list them for us? PRONI in Belfast has an index to the streets. Perhaps somebody who has access might be able to help with which film you'll be likely to need. However, searching is not a simple task, even with that information, so if SKS is willing to do it once there's probably a lot of us who would jump at the offer. So any help may best be kept private! Wouldn't it be nice if PRONI could at least load that index onto their website? Then we might all be able to use the LDS films more easily. Assuming, of course, that the PRONI index ties in with the LDS references, which somebody is probably about to tell us it doesn't!! Chris Morgan
Thanks Chris I will repost my message with a street name and see what happens!
