Hi Lady, I am used to using the LDS and library section. My problem is that I cannot find the church records for the village of Bockhorn anywhere. It is north of Oldenburg and I tried there. I also tried Zetel, since it's close to that. Nothing. Is there someway to find the name of the Evangelische church name for the town of Bockhorn? Perhaps that would help, or if you have any other ideas, please let me know. I'm at a loss. Lynn

Hi Lynn, Bockhorn is in the church district of Varel which lies directly east. The LDS has 19th Century Catholic records, but that is all I found. Unfortunately they don't have everything.
