In the recent query about Germans to Britain, I was interested because my Phillip Geary born about 1830 may have come from Hanover (definately born in Germany) and it looks as though he stopped in Britain for a time. Any hints about researching this wouls be helpful. Also is it possible that the name Geary could have been something else in Germany? Most Gearys seem to be of Irish descent. thank you for your time Betty
