Surnames: Mügge, Thiele Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/ZVC.2ACE/3989 Message Board Post: My gg grandfather, Heinrich Wilhelm August Mügge, emigrated from Förste, located NW of Hannover, in 1845. A German researcher was able to locate some records on the family in the archives at Hannover, documenting the paternal line back to about 1706. I've had great success with microfilmed records from Württemberg, but am having difficulty finding records for this area for the appropriate time period in the Family History Center library. I would like to be able to research this line before making a trip to Germany in about a year. Would appreciate any help anyone could offer in finding resources for this area.
