He was Catholic and the son of Anton Joseph Kemper. His mother was a Telgkamp and her mother was a Toebben-Otke. Other names in this line were Dieker, Kuesterberg, Kuenne, Wiggers, Woesmann, Niemann, etc. My great great grandmother was Helena Margarethe Kamp (I've also see it as Margarethe Magdalena Kamp)..I'm searching for the family of either Kemper or Kamp. I've been to Ankum too and have worked with Frau van der Haar over there, but have hit the old 'brick wall'.
