Dear Benjamin, Some month ago an old great-aunt told me that her father had two siblings which emigrated to the US. I am searching for them and their descendants with no result until today... My aunt told me also, that they have lost the contact to this relatives after my great-grandfathers death in 1926. My great-grandfathers name was Karl-Christian Bessert gen. Miller. He has asked for permission to change his name from "Bessert gen. Miller" to "Miller" but the permission came a few weeks after his death. The names of the emigrated siblings were Emil and Elisabeth Miller. Emil was born about 1865 and Elisabeth was born about 1870. My mother can remember herself of some very old photographs which are showing Emil and Elisabeth with their families. But after g-grandma's death nobody could find this old photographs... The family was originated in Greifswald/Pommern. By the way when you are searching for "Miller" in Germany many people will tell you that the name of the family were in Germany "Müller/Mueller".
