Studied philosophy in Berlin and Munich, where he lived for 10 years with his wife and two children. Headed an adult school in Göttingen for 12 years. General manager of a construction company in Saudi Arabia for two years. Appointed director of Urania theatre and lecture hall, “the flagship of Berlin popular science”. Lived on Droysenstraße in Berlin during his terminal illness. Died recently. Buried in a village near Göttingen, Lower Saxony, where his widow now lives.
