The name of the wife might be either Klapproth or Klapprodt. This are common ways to write our name. Sometimes also with one 'p'. 2. Hannover became part of Prussia after a short and bloddy battle against the Prussian army. So, its no discrepancy if somebody is born in Hannover and comes from Prussia. 3. I suppose the name of the hometown of Augusta is Osterode, not Osterow. It's where I and a lot of other Klapproth's come from. In fact, more Klapproth's live in the small villages around Osterode than in the town itself. 4. Herzberg is a town nearby and belongs to the Landkreis Osterode. By the way, Herzberg as a beautifull old castle. 5. Both towns are so close together, that it is very likely that they met and married. 6. Both towns are at the south boarder of the Harz mountains, the most northern mountains of Germany and far away from Berlin.
