Greetings listers. I am attempting to find a connection between the HINTE/HINTZE families of these cities/towns. Günther HINTE of Jembke is my oldest known ancestor.I am having problems finding his' Parents, as Church Records are not readily available, before 1720 in this area. I also have problems getting any data from the area around Boddin/Wittenburg, except for the Marriage of Friedrich HINTE to Anna REIMERS IN 1683 in Boddin, that town would seem to be the home of the Bride , rather than the Groom?Given the number of entries for the Family REIMERS. All of this brings me to Wittenburg, where I know that a HINTE family existed in the late 1600's, from former research, however I can not obtain useful data on this family. I would be very grateful for any data on this HINTE family, as it may well be the key to my research project? I apologise for the use of the English language, unfortunately that is the only language skills that I have.Replies in German are very acceptable, as I have a German Language speaking friend that will translate anything that I need.
