I have a question for the members of this list. My grandfathers older sister Anne-Martha Haase, married while still in Germany, probably living in the Thorn/Bromberg area of West Prussia. Martha was born between 1861 and 1879. Her husband, whose name I do not know, died during WWI. An old family photograph shows Martha, her husband and their seven sons. The family was believed to be Lutheran and was not known to have emigrated to another country. Data on the family is as follows: My great-grandparents Johann Haase Juliannia Ann (Nee Behnke) Haase Their Children Ida Juliania Haase; b. 4 July, 1860, d. 15 Oct. 1942 in USA Anna-Martha Haase (Known as Martha) b. between 1861 and 1879 Maxmillian Haase; b. between 1861 and 1879 Johann Julius Haase, b.19 May, 1880, d 5 Dec 1963 in USA (my Grandfather) Anne Haase, b. circa 1884 Married Mr. Hintz, one known child, Luzi. Any information on the family of Anna-Martha Haase and her husband (or any other member of this branch of the Haase family) would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
