Carol My husband's family settled in Indiana and moved on to Kansas. They spell their name Claycamp, however Kleekamp is an earlier way to spell it. Johann Frederick Kleekamp born January 20, 1785 in Venne, Germany is the earliest ancestor we have. His son Johann Frederick Claycamp was born in Germany, came to the US and died in Indiana.
