Eilermann, born 1828 around Westphalia, Prussia. He shows up on St. Louis Street Directory with a Henry E in 1858, when he marries a Lizzette Uesbeck. I have no positive record of from where or when he left Prussia, but believe he & Henry went first to Cincinnati in mid 50's, before coming to St. Louis. Is it possible your Herman & this Henry are same person? Lost track of Henry after 1860, when he was godfather for Frank's son Henry, born here in Feb. 1860. Where is Schapen, Germany?
