Hello all, I am new to this list and am here to introduce myself and give a brief summary of my unending and fascinating search. I am one of hundreds of American citizens living in Montreal. The name of my Grandmother (DE BLOIS) abounds here in Quebec. However, my family went from Koblenz to New Jersey at the end of the Civil War. I have followed the family (with LDS films) from Bad Ems and Koblenz to Huckeswagen and Elten. A person in the Netherlands who is also interested in this name has given me a huge genealogy that includes France, Belgium and the Netherlands. At the moment I am trying to connect dots and will be looking into Eltern soon. So, I would be pleased to hear from anyone who might be interested in this name or who might like me to watch for information from FHL Film 0920122 (Kirchenbuch, 1749, Katholische Kirche, Hasselunne Kr.
