By the way, there are at least 4 villages by the name of Hanstedt in Lower Saxony so the book Robert suggests may not be helpful to you. 1) Hanstedt, Landkreis (county) Rotenburg/Wümme 2) Hanstedt I, Landkreis Harburg 3) Hanstedt II, Landkreis Harburg 4) Hanstedt, Landkreis Uelzen I am the daughter of Ewald Albers, who is familiar with the first Hanstedt on my list. I have just spoken to him. On first hearing this, he suggests that this should rather be one of the other villages. Hella P.S.
