One of my great-grandmothers was Dora Sophia Hasemeier, who I believe was born in Holtorf, near Nienburg, in the 1840s. (Although I know there are also Hasemeiers from the areas around Osnabruck.) Her father was Friedrich Heinrich and her mother's name was Henrietta. Dora Sophia had at least four sisters, and married Friedrich Rieke. In the U.S. they settled first in Wisconsin and then in Minnesota. If this matches any information you have, I'd love to hear from you.
