My Great grandfather was Jurgen Heinrich Friedrich Ludwig CASTENS b. 5 Mar 1811/12 Kettenburg, d. 21 Feb 1867 Frielingen, Kreis Soltau, he was the son of Johan Heinrich CASTENS and Katharine Margarethe KÖHLER. Jurgen m. 26 Jun 1845, Catharina Maria AVERBECK, b. 3 Nov 1823 Woltem, Kreis Soltau, and d. ther 8 Aug 1896. She was the dau of Hans Jürgen AVERBECK and Anna Christina RÖHRS.
