Heinrich Tribbe m. Margarethe Schmidt and had several children. The following is what I have been able to find from the Ellis Island site, the LDS site, census records, and vital records. Sophie Tribbe (my great grandmother) was born Dec. 23, 1870. She immigrated to the US (NY) in 1895 and married Henry Fischer in NYC in 1896. Sophie died in NYC in 1914. According to the Ellis Island site, Sophie travelled with a Paul Schmidt, age 39 in 1895. I do not know the relation, but am guessing he may have been related to Sophie's mother, Margarethe. Andeline Tribbe immigrated to US (NY) May 31, 1899. I do not have any other information. Adeline Tribbe immigrated to US in 1904. She travelled with her brother, Johann (John). Adeline married Henry Von Thaden in NYC in 1908 and had 2 daughters, Elsie and Irene. John married a Mabel and lived in Carmel, Putnam Co., NY with their daughter, Gladys, according to the 1920 US census. There is also a record on the LDS site for Anna Sophie Tribbe, born in Uenzen in 1880. The site indicates that she was married in NYC to Heinrich Meyer in 1903 although I was unable to find her immigration record. Any help in finding out more about these families would be appreciated.
